Upton Sinclair, the novelist behind 'There Will Be Blood'

Books – With the exception of The Jungle, his breakthrough book of 1906 about the depredations of the meat-packing industry, Sinclair is not widely read anymore. But the upcoming release of Paul Thomas Anderson's much-heralded movie, There Will Be Blood, based on Sinclair's novel Oil!, may change all that.
