Books – This is a great book for anyone who was a kid in the 80s. Trek fans might get a kick out of the backstage looks at the Next Gen cast. Me, I like it for the reminder that things really have gotten better since I was a kid, and it's just a matter of knowing where to find the sunshine.
i imagine the 80s were pretty good but they can't compare to the 90s and the 00s.
I don't know . . . we had some pretty rockin' shoulder pads in the 80s. And who can forget the pink neon everywhere?
Sadly, I was only alive in the 80's for about 10 months. So, I missed that whole era of pink neon. . . *sigh*
Anyone want to revive it with me? :D

There was some good music, but the fashion and design ideals of the 80s were just hideous.
It cracks me up when I walk through the mall, and see all these stores selling horrendous 80s-style clothes and stuff. I want to throw myself between the damn kids today and the racks and tell them, "No! I already did this so you don't have to! Save yourself and get out while you can!"
