Jane Austen could pride herself on creating one of the world's great literary romances, the one between Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet, in "Pride and Prejudice." But that was a mild crush compared with the ongoing love affair bibliophiles have had with Austen for nearly two centuries. It's in the middle of a flare-up as we speak.
